Following the United States and Israel launching strikes on Iran and the subsequent retaliatory action, operations in the region are severely impacted.

Flights cancelled at affected airports and the other end of route because of closed or restricted airspace will qualify for alleviation from the utilisation criteria. Schedule adjustments to cover changes in expected sector lengths should be advised to ACL in the normal way. Short term operational issues will be considered when assessing slot performance.

We will publish information relevant to ACL policies and processes to the website as the situation develops.

For Dubai Airports, ACL has been requested to clear the schedule for the period 01-05 March 2026. All flights removed from the schedule have been alleviated for the purposes of the utilisation calculation. Airlines are advised to follow communication from Dubai Airports in relation to when and how resumption of services will be implemented.
