The EU’s delegated act, which amends the EU Slot Regulation to provide alleviation from the use-it-or-lose it rule for W21, is now in force.

Under this amendment, which applies to EU airports, the ability to get full alleviation for slots returned prior to season start no longer applies.  Instead, a usage ratio of 50% will apply to all slots, subject to the justified non-use provisions introduced in S21 (which continue to apply unamended).
