Airport Opening Hours
Heathrow airport is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year round.
ACL provides services from 0900 to 1700 UK local time, on weekdays only (excluding public holidays) and the coordination team can be contacted as follows:
ACL Out of Hours Coverage
Outside normal office hours (evenings, weekends, public holidays), service is provided by the airport operator.
Please note – the Out of Hours service will only deal with short term ad-hoc schedule changes and new requests. All other changes must be submitted to ACL during normal office hours.

Planned Closures for Maintenance
We are currently unaware of any planned closures for maintenance at Heathrow airport.

A number of committees have been formed to deal with various scheduling and coordination Issues.
The Constitutions, Terms of Reference and, in some cases, Minutes of some of these committees are available in the ACL Reference Library.
At Heathrow the major committees are the Coordination Committee and the Scheduling Committee.
For each scheduling season ACL publishes a seasonal report containing details of the slots requested and allocated and the utilisation of airport capacity and infrastructure.
The Seasonal Report is normally published around the start of each season.
