Peter Morrisroe

Chris Bosworth
Managing Director 

Chris, who joined ACL as MD in 2010, has over 25 years’ aviation industry experience.

He started his career at British Airways (BA) where he held a number of senior commercial positions in both BA´s passenger and cargo divisions, while also sitting as a non-executive director on the board of Global Freight Exchange – an on-line booking portal for air freight.  After leaving BA, Chris spent 2 years running his own consultancy business, working with a range of clients including airports, airlines, logistics companies and investors, all of which valuable experience he now applies to the leadership of ACL.

Since joining ACL Chris has focused on developing the company’s overall business capability by reducing costs and renewing the focus on customer service. Chris has also led ACL’s engagement with a number of national and international industry initiatives, ensuring that the company’s perspective is properly understood. In 2015 Chris was elected on to the Board of European Airport Coordinators Association (EUACA).

Chris is a graduate of Lancaster University, a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, and a member of the Institute of Directors. Chris also holds a commission in the Engineer & Logistic Staff Corps, a group of industry leaders who provide specialist advice to the armed services, and is the Vice Chair of Governors of a secondary school for students with learning difficulties.


Tony Simons

Tony Simons
Head of Information Systems

Tony is responsible for all of ACL´s Information Systems, including IT hardware, software, networks, coordination systems (Super Score), the Online Coordination System and ACL´s websites.  He is also responsible for the operation and performance of the ACL Customer Service Centre.

Tony is supported by two IT specialists and a two member Coordination Development team.

Tony joined ACL for the second time in July 2002, having previously worked for ACL as the Stansted Coordinator. Outside of coordination, his aviation experience and expertise is principally in airline operations control and scheduling, having worked for a variety of airlines and SITA´s Flight Operations department.


Jo Clarke
Finance Director

Jo joined ACL in 2011 and is responsible for management and financial accounting including the statutory accounts, the UK not-for- profit funding model, internal controls and governance, cash-flow and treasury activities, the five year financial and business plans, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting, ensuring that ACL demonstrates value for money whilst delivering a high level service and she also has Company Secretary responsibilities.

Jo is a qualified accountant with over 21 years airline experience, her background includes commercial, financial and engineering roles.  Since qualifying as an accountant she has spent time expanding her knowledge and experience in risks & controls, process improvement, commercial accountability & reporting and profit improvement.  Jo has recently spent time broadening her experience in the fast moving consumer goods sector joining ACL from Food Partners.  Jo started her career as an aircraft engineer and has a Masters degree in Business Administration from Lancaster University and a BEng in Air Transport Engineering.

Ingrid Hainy

Ingrid Hainy
Ingrid is the Coordination Manager responsible for Heathrow and Luton airport. Ingrid is supported by a team of three coordination staff.

Ingrid joined ACL in 1998, as current season Heathrow coordinator, before becoming the Stansted Coordinator in 2001. She was also responsible for London Luton and in 2006 Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen Airports.

Ingrid has been in the aviation industry for over 30 years having gained an abundance of experience in Airline Flight Operations, she holds a FAA flight operations dispatchers licence.


Seb Pelissier
Seb is the Coordination Manager responsible for London Gatwick, London City, Edinburgh, Belfast International and Belfast City, supported by four members of the coordination staff.

Seb joined ACL in 2012 working in the Heathrow team before moving to the International team supporting the coordination of Dubai International and Dublin airports, and providing consultancy services.

Prior to joining ACL, Seb held a commercial planning role for Astraeus Airlines where he had responsibilities for network and fleet planning, slot management and product delivery. Previously Seb worked as a Commercial Analyst Manager for LSG UK with responsibilities for various forecasting and growth models, exploration of commercial opportunities, and revenue management.


Fernando de Freitas

Fernando is the Coordination Manager for London Stansted and Dubai supported by a team of three coordination staff.

Fernando joined ACL in 2011working in the Gatwick team before moving to the International team supporting the coordination of Dubai International.

Outside of coordination, his aviation experience was in commercial and ground operations for Astraeus Airlines, managing projects such as the Hajj Pilgrimage and Iron Maiden Round the World Tours. Whilst at university studying a BA Hons in Tourism Management, he developed his customer services experience working at London Gatwick for Aviance.


Andy Clark

Andy Clark
Andy is the Coordination manager responsible for Manchester, Aberdeen, Bristol, Glasgow, Newcastle, Doncaster, Bournemouth, East Midlands, Cardiff, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, Shannon and Durham Tees Valley airports.
Based in the Manchester office Andy is supported by a team of two coordination staff.

Andy joined ACL in 1995 working in the Manchester team across a wide range of airports and was promoted to Coordination Manager in 2008. Andy has over 20 years experience in the aviation industry; starting in 1987 with Manchester Airport PLc, and working in a variety of roles across the airport including noise monitoring, environment, airport operations and planning.  

Lee Campbell

Lee Campbell
Lee is the Slot Performance Manager with responsibility for the administration of the Slot Sanctions scheme across the UK coordinated airports of Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Stansted and London City.

Lee joined ACL in 2000 working in the Heathrow Team, and later with the additional responsibility of London City.  Prior to joining ACL Lee was in the Royal Air Force for nine years with Air Traffic Control, serving at various stations in the UK, Germany and Kosovo.
